Significance:
Calcium in Nano serves its importance in blood clotting, enzyme activation, and acid-base balance. It helps in providing rigidity to the bones and the teeth. It also serves its importance in the functions of nerves and muscles and maintenance of membrane permeability. 
At any given time, the body of an adult contains about 700g of Calcium phosphate; of this, 120g is the element calcium. Adults should consume at least 1g of Calcium daily. Requirement increase to 1.2 to 1.5g daily during pregnancy, lactation and post menopausal period.
