Vitamin C is present in the strength of 50mg per capsule of Nano. It is also known as Ascorbic acid. It is a water soluble vitamin. It is necessary for the formation of collagen in connective tissues. It is also essential in maintenance of integrity of intercellular cement in many tissues, esp. capillary walls.

It's deficiency leads to Scurvy, defective teeth, pyorrhea, anorexia, and anemia. It can also lead to undernutrition injury to bones, cells, and blood vessels.

The recommended adult daily allowance is 60mg.
